Welcome to Frankfort, Indiana's Community In-Put / Our Community Matters Web-Site

      In 2009 a group of  Frankfort citizens started holding monthly meetings to discuss what we as a community could do to improve the physical appearance of our city for those who live here and for visitors to our community, in other words, "how can we make our community better".

     After many months of sharing ideas and goals, the focus fell on cleaning up the community along our gateways and the downtown area as our first project.

     What we need is your support, whether you be an community organization, church group. or individual, please contact us to get involved in support of Our Community Matters.

     We need volunteers, Project Managers, Project Supervisors, donations, be it materials or monetary, please contact us for full details at (765) 654-4081 or attend our meetings listed to the left.

Community Rise & Shine is a community based volunteer effort designed to address some of the physical needs of  the community.  Our Goal is to have 300 - 500 volunteers donate their time to help clean up, paint, repair, help with yard work, and make a difference in our community.  We can't do this without you, please consider how you may be able to help.  Our Operating Budget, we do not have one, however, we refuse to let that be our excuse for not making a difference.

Please Consider being a part of your Community Rise & Shine 2011 as we seek to continue the tremendous transformation that is taking place in Frankfort, Indiana.

BACKYARD TO THE BRICKYARD 2012

OPERATION SAVE THE STONES
 Plans are being devloped to tear down the walls and railings leading up to the large Shelter House at the TPA Park.  We will be looking for volunteers to collect the stones for their reuse in the Spring 2012, when the wall and railing will be replaced.
